The Order of the Arrow, Buckskin Lodge, service organization (Boy Scouts of America) will be sponsoring the “Arrows for Charity 5k Walk/Run”
Sunday, March 20th   8:00AMRace Start,

Race fee:$16 pre-registration or $20 day of race

Lodge Training 2011

Everyone is urged to Get Down and Get trained! You will learn about the traditions, customs, and policies of the Order of the Arrow and Buckskin Lodge This is an informative, fun day for Scouts and Scouters, filled with fellowship, brotherhood, and great food! It also is strongly recommended for any brother who wants to prepare to hold a Lodge or Chapter position.

Training will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011

Wear full Scout Uniform for OA training and Arrive between7.30 and 8 am
Training begins at 8am, Ends at 3 pm

61st Anniversary Banquet

Bucskin Lodge Presents our 61st Anniversary Banquet at Westbury Manor on Tuesday, December 28th 2010.

There will be a hospitality hour followed by a sit down dinner. We will be featuring a special gurst speaker for this event! Please Mark your calendar now! So you do not miss this special night of fun and fellowship.

No uniforms are to be worn to this event. Everyone should wear dressy attire.

Adults are $40 and Youth under the age of 21 are $32

Update – Service Project Date Moved

The second pumpkin truck was delayed leaving the Navajo Indian Nation and will be arriving at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 19th. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE.  The Church is located at 3434 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown NY.   Next to the old K Mart / Office Max.

The work is scheduled to start at 5:30 PM. The uniform of the day is work cloths (you will get dirty) and your OA sash.

The food order for the Fall Weekend is due on Tuesday, October 19th.  Please register for the weekend asap.  The Brotherhood Ceremony will be Friday evening.  If you have other commitments over the weekend, you can still join us for the Brotherhood portion of the weekend.

Attached is the application for the Fall Weekend, October 22, 23 & 24.  There are over 20 projects aimed at people of all ages and abilities.  If you can’t come for the whole weekend, please consider giving us a hand during the day on Saturday.  We are in need of experienced tradesman.  Including carpenters, masons, people familiar with bicycle repair and small engine maintenance.

Lodge Service Project

The next phase of this years Lodge Service Project will be on Monday, October 18th.  A second pumpkin truck will be arriving at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  The church is located at 3434 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown, NY.  Next to the old K Mart.

Each year part of funds raised by the Church’s pumpkin sale, over ,000 is sent to the Navaho Indian Nation in South Dakota.

OA Fall Weekend Projects

There are over 20 projects aimed at people of all ages and abilities.  If you can’t come for the whole weekend, please consider giving us a hand during the day on Saturday.  We are in need of experienced tradesman.  Including carpenters, masons, people familiar with bicycle repair and small engine maintenance.

We are looking for a donation of a replacement cutting edge for a 8″ Fisher snowplow.

There are several tent platforms that need repair.  Can anyone help use with the use of a Paslode nail gun?
